Looking toward Mt Kosciusko - Australia's highest mainland peak at a mere 2228 metres - from Guthega in New South Wales. Snow Gums are the only trees that survive at this altitude, but the area has thousands of magnificent wildflowers in summer. In winter, it plays host to many thousands of skiing enthusiasts.
