Descriptions, grammars and executable examples of FCG and FE are accessible
from the "WebKB languages" home page.
Note 1. In May-June 2003, I wrote an
adaptation (and slight extension) of this
work for RDF+OWL and UML.
In 2001, I wrote an adaptation of this work for RDF using Tim Berners Lee's
suggested extensions for RDF (e.g. the forall
and exists
constructs): Postscript version,
PDF version,
HTML version.
At the time, it was still unclear whether or not RDF would remain associated with
a DAML+OIL-like ontology.
OWL (a slight modification
of DAML+OIL) is now the standard language ontology associated with RDF.
Note 2. A complement to the above article(s) is this discussion on knowledge entering recommendations to increase knowledge reuse. More detailed (but less argumented) advices about how to enter knowledge are given in here in WebKB-2's documentation. You can also have look at my WebNet 2000 article about "Conventions for Knowledge Representation via RDF" and, for historical purposes only, at my ICCS 2000 article about "Conventions and Notations for Knowledge Representation and Retrieval".
